Bodybuilding Tips from IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Ben Pakulski and Vince Del Monte

Hey guys, I went to University of Western Ontario with Big Ben back in the day and was able to catch up with him at Gold’s Gym in Venice California. We went for lunch at the legendary Firehouse (where all the great’s hung out) and then did a mini interview for you outside the gym. Ben takes a very holistic and intelligent approach to bodybuilding that goes FAR beyond just eating, training and sleeping. It’s all about OPTIMIZATION and Ben shared some really insightful lessons in this video. I’m hoping to team up with him in the New Year to put together a KILLER KILLER product for you guys… stay tuned. And be sure to pick up Ben’s DVD… I laughed at him when he told me the price… it’s worth 20x more than what you can get it for… I watched it on the plane ride to LA and both Flavia and I really learned a lot, especially the nutritional section. www.benpakulski.com Cheers Vince

  1. Anyone seen his DVD “All about the Benjamins”?
    I’m thinking of ordering it

  2. Pak-man is the best!

  3. @mothersnath You are wrong. It’s not narrow minded. Its personal prefference. :)

  4. @mothersnath Why do you have to swear like that? It only makes you look childish. Well let’s just say he wouldnt be the size he is if he didnt take roids, none of them would be, they’d all be 30 kilos lighter walking around like the rest of natural body builders. Taking it is personal preffernce if you want an even playing field so be it, dosent matter in the end as none of todays builders look as good as the 70s with their bloated blown out symmetrics and growth hormone guts. Have a good one.

  5. L0L Y0U CAN’T ALKANIZE Y0UR B0DY AND CHANGE THE PH LEVEL IT’S BASIC BI0CHEMISTRY

  6. Its good youre taking the time to reply to each one of your fans raising concerns on the topic of steroids, however they are clearly mistaken as to what steroids actually do and how theyre incorporated into sports, as such theyre just viewed as “bad” and anyone who associates with steroids is also “bad”.
Dont let them get to you, theyre just narrow minded and mistaken (FYI i personally have never and more than likely will never use steroids).

  7. @bakernator08 everything vince said
also, steroids dont just make you huge define symmetrical and proportional, you have to work harder and eat harder too, you narrow minded fuck
and the term “cheater”, if hes taking steroids and competing against people who are also taking steroids in competitions where steroid use is unquestioned, how is that cheating? the playing fields are level and again it comes down to the hardest worker there (and genetics help too)

  8. Wow Vince, this is so disappointing, I can’t believe you would post a video with this guy. I always bought your stuff and read your emails, but no more. I always thought you stand strong against steroids, but I guess I was wrong. I agree with the previous guy that mentioned that your friend should admit about using drugs. Thanks for your advice over the years, but I won’t take any more advice from the guy that thinks it’s okay to post a video of a cheater. Good Luck

  9. @VinceDelMonte Thanks for replying Vince, appreciate the in depth reasoning. Point taken. I too had a school mate who was massive even as a kid, always huge, he just retired from pro level, have you heard of Luke Woods. Also I def think you have opened a can of worms on the drug front by posting this video, i think there maybe a long lived buzz on the drug cheat front, this is an oldy but a goody “BIGGER STRONGER FASTER” (Found on YT 11 parts) I also requested Gregory Mantell interview you :)

  10. @VinceDelMonte My personal thoughts on steroids are quite simple: You should have at least 4-5 years of consistent training and you should have a few years of dedicated nutrition and experimentation and documentation of your results and you should be very close to your genetic potential before even thinking about them. Optimize the heck out of every area of your training, give that a few years and then see where you are at. Then decide if that extra edge drugs gives you is worth it.

  11. @bakernator08 Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure drugs can dramatically change your body but there are DOZENS of guys in my own gym who take drugs and they LOOK LIKE SHIT! You know why? Because they still don’t know how to eat and train and supplement properly. Just because you take steroids doesn’t mean you’re going to get results. They will help but the most successful physiques learn to combine everything.

  12. @bakernator08 You have to remember that I’ve been bodybuilding for 8 years now so my body has developed and the programs I use when I was first “Skinny Vinny” 8 years ago have advanced and become more challenging. For people looking for their FIRST transformation then I recommend following guys like me. But when you take your body further and further it’s beneficial to expand your team and get eyes on areas of your training and nutrition that you might be missing.

  13. @bakernator08 I understand your confusion. First off, I’ve known Ben for the past ten years and he’s ALWAYS been huge. He was playing football and competitive bodybuilding since the age of 16. In University he was the biggest guy in the gym and one of the hardest working guys in the world. 80% of his clients are drug free so he has A LOT of knowledge in working with guys like you and me. On my site I take a stance against pro bodybuilders as your PRIMARY source of info….

    @VinceDelMonte LMAO..

  15. @VinceDelMonte LMAO good answer vince

  16. SKATHAROZOUMISS

VINCE I AM A HIGE FAN.AND I WILL BUY YOURS PROGRAMES..I HAVE SEE ALL YOURS VIDEOS MINUTE TO MINUTE…I HOPE YOU AND YOU WIFE BE HAPPY. A FAN FROM CREECE

  17. @VinceDelMonte I get that but isn’t it important that I take an interest in other peoples training to learn more which is why I have followed your stuff & other peoples in detail? I just think that if people I take advice take them then that is an important variable to know about as it makes a big difference. I’ll never think bad of someone for wanting to take that root as that part isn’t what I should worry about if that makes sense

  18. @The1DrShade Hey bud… before you even THINK about drugs there are hundreds of little things you can do with your diet and training to optimize it. The majority of Ben’s clients are drug fee which becomes a fun challenge because you’re forced to become VERY intelligent about your training and eating. Keep focusing on YOUR training and don’t worry about what other people are doing.

  19. Hey vince thanks again for more great videos. :)

Surprised u r introducing professional body builders, only because it is common knowledge that the pro’s use steroids and GH. I always respected your big stand against steroids which confuses me as to y u would endorse the knowledge of a cheater, no offense 2 your friend – but clearly he is only number 1 because the Drugs gave him the edge 2 compete in that league. When u say u r competing. What comp?. Should we be worried?

  20. SpartanForgeWorld300

I can’t gain crap and can’t lift very heavy.

  21. I would rather have your athletic body Vince, than the guy next to you, seriously he looks funny/heavy and scary

  22. i still want to see more videos with Flavia and what she does to stay in shape food wise and exercise routine wise!
    please and thank you!!

  23. Thanks for these amazing tips, Vince!!

  24. Hey Vince, I read somewhere that bathing in warm water post-workout can hinder muscle growth. Is this true? If it is, how cold should the water be? I’m posting this on the most recent video because I’m hoping that you’ll see it.

  25. @The1DrShade Just to clarify my point is that I know you have to train very hard etc along with the drugs but these people should talk openly about them because if they don’t people will train for ages thinking that they can get really big by “adjusting their PH level” I’ve been training for a couple of years now & it’s only in the last year I realised how many pros & people around me were using drugs & people openly lie about using them when they shouldn’t cos I wouldn’t think any less of them
